PTA Volunteers
By sharing your time and talent, you can enrich the learning experience for students and provide needed support to teachers. Even if you are a working parent and cannot help during the days there are still some areas we could use your help. Become a Volunteer Today!
If you would like to become a volunteer at Neptune Beach Elementary please fill out the Volunteer Form for 2009-2010 located in the PTA Downloads located on the main menu of this website. Once you are called in on a project there are a couple of things to remember:
- You must have a valid Duval County Volunteer ID Card to volunteer in the classroom, on field trips, or work on school grounds. If you have not filled out a Duval County Volunteer Form, you can pick one up on the wall located before the main office or go online to http://www.duvalschools.org/static/offcampus/
- Click on "Volunteer Information", click on "School Volunteers", click on "Apply to be a Volunteer" for the 2009-10 Volunteer Application.
- Each time you volunteer, sign-in and record your hours in the Volunteer Log book located in the school’s main office.
- Try to attend Volunteer Meetings. It will keep you informed of school events.
- Please follow all school policies.
- Share any concerns you have about your assignment with the Volunteer Coordinators. We can’t fix the problems if we don’t know what they are.
