Dear Parents, please make sure your student has his/her discussion questions ready and final essay with rubric attached--see Class Files! on January 6 for A day and January 7 for B day!! They have had over a month. Be prepared.

***STUDENTS WHO OBVIOUSLY DID NOT REREAD THEIR TEXT AND WHO ONLY PLAN ON RETAKING THE TEST FOR A HIGHER GRADE AND WHO DO NOT RAISE THEIR GRADE ON THE RETAKE, WILL BE PENALIZED AT LEAST 10-15 PTS.

DO NOT WASTE MY TIME BY RETAKING THE TEST UNLESS YOU PLAN ON REREADING THE NOVEL. ***I can tell if you reread the novel or not. I really can.

Attach nonfiction essay rubric to your essay--see Class Files

period 1b!! READ THIS!! I have just noticed that I did not add in all of the make up voc tests from units 7,8, and 9. I will update them today. If you were absent for those tests and you want to know your updated grade, e-mail me. ** I just checked. It effects only about 4 students. Most are not absent. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Have a great break and complete your essay and your presentation and your discussion questions ( most were awful!--e-mail me!)
