Short Story 'Written Portion'

Students are learning what it takes to become a story teller.

Drama I students are writing a story to present to an audience. The story must be about one of the following:

  1. A time when the student was the most embarrassed
  2. A time when the student was the most frightened
  3. A time when the student was the most brave.

There is no length requirement to this assignment, but it must contain the elements of a story. The mechanics of all stories include a beginning, a middle, and an end. Remeber to highlight the inciting incident to the story. This is the point where the audience should be truly engaged. This assignment was completed during class sessions that met on 11/4-11/5. Upon the completion of the written portion, students will be presenting their stories to the class beginning in class on 11/9/09.
